Lisa Edelstein was an American actress who is best known as the actress who starred in Fox's House medical series. Growing up in Wayne with a strict Jewish traditions, she moved in New York City at the age of eighteen to study theater at Tisch School of the Arts. The school was heavily involved in the nightlife scene in New York City and made enough noise to get heard from the news media. While doing so she became more conscious of AIDS and its devastating impacts. She then merged her fame and talent with the ability to write and compose to produce a play called Positive Me. Awake in the Wild Side was her next assignment. When the show ended, she went on to join the film and TV productions. Her first job was in smaller roles, and then became established slowly as an actress.
