Amber Benson is an American actress singer writer director and producer. She is most well-known for acting as Tara Maclay from the TV show Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Benson has also directed her films Chance, Lovers Liars & Lunatics and starred as the leading actress in those films. Benson also appeared in the film Kiss the Bride. Benson was born January 8 1977. She was born in Birmingham Alabama the daughter of Diane Benson and Edward Benson a psychiatrist. Benson has a younger sister Danielle and is an artist.
